About The Design

Volunteers are an integral part of the SXSW Festival, and the staffing team always tries to ensure they’re appreciated.

For this volunteer appreciation banner, the team wanted to utilize art elements from a set of embroidered patches I designed for the Volunteer Manager team and expand those elements into a full banner.

Using pieces of the patch art like the robot high five, guitars, and film camera, I created a dynamic visual scene that’s full of bright colors and energy, the perfect spot for a photo op.
